3 Ways To Live With More Gratitude

The Transformative Power of Gratitude

Living with gratitude will change your life. Seriously change your life. Not only does developing a characteristic habit of becoming continually focused on gratitude lead to more happiness and peace of mind, but is also one of the most transformative elements you can incorporate into your life.

When you live with gratitude you automatically raise your vibration. It is through gratitude that we can move past our self-limitation and fear…and into a place that is filled instead with joy and energy and limitless possibility. If you’re looking to live with more personal freedom and happiness, gratitude is going to help you achieve it.

There’s really no way to change the circumstances of your life without being thankful for what you already have. This is why a lot of people get stuck in vicious cycles of negativity because let’s face it, it’s not always easy to be grateful for the things that happen in life. It’s easy to give thanks for the good things. Love and gratitude vibrate a very similar frequency. And when something feels good or we receive something we love it’s really easy to feel grateful for it.

When you begin offering gratitude to the things that feel not so good however, you’ll slowly begin to see that these circumstances are put in your path to offer the personal growth necessary to evolve. It is often the hardest things in life that offer the most profound space for the personal growth you need to take your life to a new level. If we can learn to be grateful for the lessons these situations offer, we can truly begin to experience whatever it is we’ve come here to learn. It is here that we are more closely guided to our truth…and in doing so we are more closely guided towards our own personal destiny.

The Importance of Focusing on Gratitude (for everything in your life)

Cultivating more gratitude and focusing on gratitude for whatever it is that is currently happening in your life will automatically begin to shift your vibration. The negative emotions we all experience when we focus on what’s wrong (fear, anger, anxiety, depression, hatred) all begin to change when we shift our thoughts to being grateful. It’s truly our attitude about life that inspires the conditions in which we live. Stay focused on the negative things around you, and that’s exactly what you’re going to keep getting.

While this might seem easy enough to understand, it’s not always easy to change the perpetual habits we’ve all been comfortably acquainted with. If you can comprehend the fact though, that offering gratitude towards everything you currently possess or experience will ultimately change your life and is something that requires little effort on your part…you will start to see your life begin to change.

Making a continuous effort to maintain a continual state of gratitude will help you begin to create everything it is you desire. How do you live with more gratitude? Try implementing some of the following habits into your life, and you’re sure to see how quickly your life begins to transform into that of which dreams are made.

3 Ways to Live with More Gratitude

  1. Say “Thank You”

If you can let these two very simple words begin to define your existence, you’re well on your way to living a life that is rich in meaning and saturated with happiness. Begin to take these words with you wherever you go, and try to make them your first conscious thought of each day.

Give thanks for the bed you’ve slept in, for the roof over your head, for the food you eat, and the clothes you wear. Offer gratitude towards the car you drive, even if it’s not the car you want to be driving. If your car breaks down, be thankful for whatever this reason is even if you can’t consciously understand what it would be. Give thanks for the job you didn’t get, because it only means there is a better job waiting for you.

There is always something to be grateful for. When you begin by focusing your thankfulness on the little things you experience each day, you completely shift your energy and make room for the bigger things to flow effortlessly into your life.

  1. Be Thankful for What You Have

This is something very important when working with the energy of gratitude. You must be thankful for whatever it is you already have in order to receive more of what you want. Even if you aren’t living the “life of your dreams”, you are living life and should be thankful for whatever situation may end up in your path.

If it’s a new job that you want, become grateful for the job you already have. If you aren’t experiencing an ideal living situation, be thankful for where you currently are so you may better appreciate what’s to come. Whatever it is you have right now, begin to cultivate gratitude towards it. This is one of the quickest ways to receive more of what you do want, while accepting whatever it is you currently have.

  1. Keep a Gratitude Journal

One easy way of consciously being grateful for whatever it is you already have is to begin to record it on paper. Keeping a gratitude journal will keep you focused on the good. What we focus on tends to continually manifest in our lives, and when we put our attention on the good things that happen each day, we ultimately make room for more of the same.

An easy way to start a gratitude journal is by simply offering it thanks. Use the first page to write how thankful you are to fill all these blank pages with the blessings in your life. At the end of each day take a couple minutes to write down the little things that have happened during the day that you’re thankful for. It could be your pets, children, or the way your partner made you feel. It could be the ease of your commute or something positive that happened at work. It could also be something as simple as the way the sun catches through the leaves on the trees and the feeling of peace and wonder it inspires in you.

When you remember that there is always something to be grateful for, it’s much easier to begin to see the many miracles that surround you every single day. Begin to write them down, and you will ultimately begin to see them multiply until your life is full of that which you most deeply desire.

Begin to let your heart overflow with gratitude. Your life is full of many things to be grateful for and when you begin to see this, your entire existence will begin to change. Be the change you wish to see by offering your thanks to everything your world contains. You will be astounded at the transformation that ultimately becomes your reality.
